My name is Trevor Welch, and I live for making duck calls. I started making duck calls at a young age as a hobby. There wasn’t a call on my dad or brother’s lanyard that I hadn’t taken apart to figure out how it worked. Growing up I always had access to my dad’s wood shop where I learned the art of wood working. My dad helped me make my first duck call in 2010. Duck calls became an obsession for me. Soon after, I got a wood lathe and started crafting duck calls. It led me to realize that making duck calls was not just a hobby anymore but a passion of mine. As interest in my calls grew, HWM Custom Calls was born. I strive to make the best duck call out there and I am always looking for ways to improve my calls.
